Because, today I’m sharing how to propagate orchids from the withered flower branch, Just a few simple steps. From the flower branches, small plants will grow, making propagation easier. The roots also grow a lot and are healthy.
Tomato Power
We will need the Vitamins and nutrients from tomatoes. Tomatoes contain a lot of vitamins A, B, C and other minerals such as Phosphorus, Potassium will help plants grow and grow small plants quickly in the most natural way. We will use 1/2 tomato. Cut into small pieces. Put into blender. Add 200ml of water and puree. Filter out the residue. Dilute tomato juice with 1 liter of water. When the flowers have withered If this part is still green and good, you should keep it, from locations that contain small sprouts. Use scissors to cut a piece of keiki from the flower branch. Then cut again with a razor, so that the cut does not rot. Apply tree seal or 502 glue to dry the cut and prevent water from entering. Be careful not to injure your sleeping eyes. Use small pieces of cotton to soak in this tomato juice. Then squeeze out the water. These cotton pads will dry out, but the vitamins and nutrients from the tomatoes have been absorbed into the flower branches, helping the small plant to revive very quickly. In order for small orchids to grow, we need to maintain appropriate temperature and humidity I will use floral foam, it retains moisture very well. Cut it into a nice circle. Need a plastic cup and lid to create a mini greenhouse. Now we’re going to pour water in here. You see it absorbs a lot of wate.r Now put the small flower branch here. Turn the cup upside down. Punch holes in the top to create ventilation. With this simple method, depending on the flower variety, some plants are fast, some are slow, If we persevere for a period of 2 to 4 weeks, right at these locations the small plants will be revived. With this method, after a short period of time, small plants have grown very well on the flower branches to help these roots become longer and healthier. We will spray a moisturizing mist when the floral foam is almost dry. Then place in a cool place (from 22=28°C)
After 3 months, the roots have grown very quickly and long. We will take out the small orchid and transplant it into a new pot to help the plant grow better I use LECA as a growing medium for orchids. Fix it with clamps so that the orchid roots are not damaged I covered the top with a layer of moss to keep it moist. Spray moist mist regularly so that orchid roots do not lose water. Once the roots have penetrated deep, you can remove the moss.
