Hello friends! When we have rotten orchids like this, don’t rush to throw them away. Today I share a very simple and easy method, the tree will recover quickly. The roots are damaged, the cause is because the growing medium is too wet.

Step 1: Cut off all damaged leaves and roots and keep the roots that are still green. An orchid root that is still fresh is a sign that the plant has the ability to revive.

Step 2: wash orchid roots with clean water and let dry naturally for 1 hour.

Step 3: then use 2 spoons of cinnamon bark powder. Add 1 liter of boiled water and stir well Then you filter this water.

Step 4: Clean the moss with cinnamon bark water. Soak for 30 minutes to kill fungi and bacteria. Then squeeze out all the water. The moss has become clean, and has the necessary moisture.

Step 5: mix 100ml of cinnamon powder with 1 liter of water.

Step 6: Soak the orchid in cinnamon bark water for 15 minutes. This method will help the remaining roots not rot and develop better.

Step 7: then take it out and you need to dry the roots thoroughly.

Step 8: recycle plastic cups to make orchid pots. Punch holes in the bottom and around to create ventilation. Replant the orchid with moss that still has some moisture. Apply scar glue and 502 glue to the cut roots to prevent them from rotting.

Step 9: replant the orchid with some moss remaining. Moss treated with cinnamon bark will help the roots grow quickly and absorb nutrients from the remaining cinnamon bark. In addition, cinnamaldehyde is the main component of cinnamon bark that has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effects.

Step 10: Create a mini hydroponic cup to keep the moss moist. Add a little water to the second cup. The rising steam will maintain the ideal humidity for the orchid to revive. Punch a hole in the third plastic cup and face it up to create a mini greenhouse. Store in a cool place between 20 – 25° C, avoid direct sunlight and this is the result after 1 month, the tree has been revived The sprouts have grown and the roots have developed very well. We will spray mist to moisturize the plants every 5 days. You will leave the tree back in its original position. With this simple method, you can easily restore any rotten orchids. This is the result after the next 2 months. The tree has begun to grow very healthy, New roots grow a lot. You can continue planting with moss or replace it with charcoal or pine bark. Keep the water level at such a high level that you will not need to water the plant for a long time.

Good bye and see you again. I wish you every success
