When carrots grow and develop, they need to be fed. A good fertilizer will be useful to you.
Recommended Fertilizer Mix:
- Saltpeter – 25 grams
- Superphosphate – 30 grams
- Water – 10 liters
- Potassium salt – 30 grams
How to Use:
- Dissolve all ingredients in water and apply to the carrots.
- After three weeks, do the second feeding, and after the same time, do the third feeding.
- Feed the beds in the evening, and moisten them well beforehand.
- You can also feed carrots with peat, rotted humus at the rate of 1 kg per 1 m².
Carrots should be planted in a place where the sun shines well, and it is well ventilated. Use warm water for watering. Fertilizing with chemical means should be alternated with folk methods like yeast fertilizer, milk whey, and onion peel infusions.
