Everyone knows that each plant needs specific care to ensure a good harvest. This is especially true for cabbage. There are several reasons why cabbage may grow poorly and fail to form good heads. Cabbage thrives in fertile soil that is properly fertilized. If the soil is poor, it is unrealistic to expect a good harvest.
Cabbage will not grow well in acidic soil. To correct this, you need to deacidify the soil by applying lime in advance. You can use slaked lime or dolomite flour.
To achieve a good harvest, feed cabbage regularly. However, if the cabbage is still not growing well, consider the possibility that it is lacking calcium. To address this, dissolve a glass of slaked lime in a bucket of water. Use 1 liter per seedling and be sure to moisten the soil with water beforehand.
We wish you a good harvest!
