If you have an orchid in a neglected state, try using a simple remedy from the drugstore to restore it. You will need an alcohol solution of iodine, which is inexpensive and effective.
After using this solution, your orchid will recover with new strength and start to bloom beautifully.
To prepare the solution, mix just 1000 ml of water with a couple of drops of iodine. Thoroughly mix the solution and apply it to the edge of the flower pot. For exhausted orchids, water them with iodine once every 10 days. For healthy orchids or as a preventive measure against rot, apply once every 21 days. You can alternate iodine irrigation with other stimulating and disinfecting agents like nicotinic acid, succinic acid, or hydrogen peroxide.
After using iodine irrigation, you will notice that your orchid starts to produce new roots. Buds and peduncles will appear on healthy flowers, and they will continue to thrive.
