Irrigation plays a significant role in growing a tasty crop. However, it is crucial to do it properly.
There is a gardener’s secret used in growing carrots—adding salt to the irrigation water. Salt acts as a fertilizer, helping the plant absorb useful elements more effectively. Additionally, it protects carrots from pests and enhances their sweetness.
For irrigation, use warm water and add a tablespoon of salt to a 10-liter bucket. Before applying the salt solution, water the beds with ordinary water.
This special watering method should be done three times throughout the summer.
We wish you a good harvest!
