The dried roots of an orchid

To revive your orchid, you will need just two key ingredients that are both affordable and effective. With minimal effort, you can start seeing visible improvements in a short amount of time.

🛠 What You’ll Need:

2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide
2 pieces of aloe vera
1 liter of water
A bottle
A spray bottle
A blender

🪴 Method 1: Hydrogen Peroxide Treatment

1️⃣ Prepare the Solution – Mix 1 liter of water with 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide in a container.
2️⃣ Soak the Orchid – Carefully remove the orchid from its pot and place only the roots in the solution for 15 minutes. Avoid getting water on the petals and leaves.
3️⃣ Repot the Plant – After soaking, place the orchid back in its pot.
4️⃣ Hydrate the Leaves – Fill a spray bottle with the hydrogen peroxide mixture and lightly mist the leaves, but don’t overdo it!

🌱 Method 2: Aloe Vera Hydration

1️⃣ Blend Aloe Vera – Take two pieces of aloe vera, blend them, and mix the gel with 1 liter of water.
2️⃣ Soak the Roots – Pour this soothing mixture into a bowl and submerge only the dry roots for 15 minutes.
3️⃣ Repot and Care – If needed, add a little extra water before placing the plant back into its pot.

🌿 Why These Methods Work

💧 Hydrogen Peroxide helps to oxygenate the roots and kill harmful bacteria or fungi that may be affecting your orchid.
🌿 Aloe Vera is known for its hydrating and healing properties, making it an excellent natural treatment for dehydrated plant roots.
