Many gardeners strive to provide their plants with proper nutrition and care to achieve a bountiful harvest. They aim to ensure that their plants grow green mass quickly and produce fruits sooner. While some prefer chemical fertilizers, many are supporters of folk remedies and natural solutions.
One such natural fertilizer is milk or whey. These products contain nitrogen, iron, magnesium, and calcium, which enrich the soil and help plants better absorb the essential nutrients they need. This improvement happens thanks to the presence of lactic acid bacteria in the milk and whey.
How to Prepare and Use the Remedy?
To create this fertilizer, dissolve 1000 ml of whey or milk in a bucket of water.
This solution helps protect plants from root rot. To use it, apply the mixture under the roots, but make sure to water the soil with regular water first. Feed your plants with this solution twice during the growing season: once 14 days after planting the seedlings and again during fruiting. You can also spray the plants with the solution, creating a protective film on the leaves that shields them from harmful pathogenic microflora. It’s best to repeat the spraying once a week.
We wish you a good harvest!
