Hello friends! Today I share how to restore orchids with root rot and the tree will develop a new healthy root system in a very simple way.
Step 1: Cut off the rotten roots, keeping the roots that are still healthy.
Step 2: Rinse under running water then let dry naturally for a day.
Step 3: Take 1 piece of chopped ginger and put it in a blender. Add 200ml of water and puree Filter out the residue and add 700ml of clean water. After the orchid dries naturally, wipe it clean with ginger water. Clean the top and bottom of the leaves. Then soak the orchid roots in ginger water for 30 minutes. Next, recycle plastic coca cola bottles into mini greenhouses. Use scissors to cut in this position to put the leca inside. Pour in a little water. Place the orchid inside so that the root tip touches the water. Use tape to tape and keep in a cool, well-lit place. When the water runs out, you can add more water.
Take advantage of the remaining ginger juice and take care of orchids in the following 3 ways.
Method 1: Clean the top and bottom of the orchid leaves. This method helps clean, replenish nutrients and prevent itching, fungus, and insects. Do this 1-2 times per month.
Method 2: Spray mist on the entire orchid This method is similar to using foliar fertilizer. You can use it as a natural pesticide to protect orchids from insects and diseases.
Method 3: Water this fertilizer solution on the orchid roots. This method helps supplement nutrients and prevent insects. As a result, after 45 days, new roots appeared and the leaves became strong and healthy. We can plant it in a new pot. Use pine bark and a stick to hold the orchid in place. Water and care as usual. Place the orchid pot over a cup of water to keep it moist and does not require frequent watering. With this method of planting, The roots are always provided with the necessary moisture and will not rot again. The spike grows out and you will have beautiful flowers.
Happy Gardening!
