In August, the amount of cucumber harvest significantly decreases due to lower temperatures and heavy rains. However, there’s no need to be discouraged—you can still plant cucumbers again, but it must be done according to specific rules.

Key Tips for Planting Cucumbers:

  1. Plant cucumbers as far as possible from the old beds.
  2. After planting seeds or seedlings in plastic bags, you won’t have enough space since the old plants may already be closing in.
  3. Use a bag with a dense volume of 50 liters.
  4. Make several holes in the bag, then place grass clippings or compost inside. Add 1/3 of the bag’s volume with manure and then plant your seeds or seedlings.
  5. After planting, ensure the cucumbers are well moistened and the bag is closed.
  6. Once the sprouts appear, gradually open the bag and fill it with earth.
  7. Add earth so that the lateral roots of the cucumber can grow, helping the plant absorb water and essential nutrients.

We wish you a great harvest!
