Most gardeners start planting ampel petunias at the beginning of summer. These beautiful flowers can transform even the most inconspicuous flower bed with their vibrant colors. However, to ensure they delight you with lush and bright blooming, they must be fed on time.
Although the plant is small, it is quite powerful. You need to feed the flower regularly, ideally once every 7-10 days. These top dressings should not be confused with the ones applied to the soil before planting the flowers. Without proper feeding, you cannot expect beautiful blooms.
If the flower has grown well, it should be transplanted into a pot with a volume of 10 liters or more.
Mix nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus in a ratio of 20:20:20. Dissolve 10 grams of the prepared fertilizer in a bucket of water and apply it under the root. Make sure to moisten the ground well before applying the fertilizer.
With regular watering and proper feeding, your petunias will reward you with a profuse bloom all summer long!
