In November, several important steps should be taken to improve soil fertility for the upcoming growing season.
First, fertilizers must be applied to the soil to replenish its nutrients. Compost and rotted manure are among the best options for enriching the soil. However, there’s another highly effective option that works just as well—bone meal and fish meal.
Cucumbers and tomatoes particularly respond well to this type of feeding, while root crops will also experience significant improvement in growth.
For a 1 m² area, add between 50 to 100 grams of bone and fish meal. After applying the meal, dig up the soil and cover it with mulch.
By the following year, you’ll be amazed at the improved quality of your soil, setting the stage for healthier, more productive plants.
