- Recipe: Dilute 300 ml of acetic acid (70%) in 2 liters of warm water. Pour the solution over areas where ants are concentrated. Alternatively, use regular 9% white vinegar directly on ant hills without dilution.
- Ash, Lime, and Bark Mixture:
- Recipe: Grind tree bark and mix it with ash and lime in any proportion. Sprinkle this mixture over areas where ants gather.
- Ash with Salt Solution:
- Recipe: Sprinkle a mixture of stove soot and plant ash on the soil, then water it with a strong solution of table salt (5-7 tbsp per liter of boiling water).
- Cinnamon:
- Simply sprinkle cinnamon powder directly on ant hills and along their trails.
- Solution with Kerosene:
- Recipe: Mix 2 tbsp of carbolic acid, 400 g of household soap, and 10 tbsp of kerosene in 10 liters of water. Use this solution to treat areas where ants are present.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Regularly clean the garden by removing weeds, fallen leaves, and other plant debris that can attract ants.
- Sealing: Seal cracks and crevices in your home’s foundation, greenhouses, and other structures to prevent ants from entering.
- Plant Protection: Apply a lime or chalk solution to the lower parts of tree trunks and saplings to deter ants from climbing.
