Stimulating root formation can be easily achieved using natural methods. Here are five effective techniques:
1. Honey Solution
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of 1.5 liters of water. Place the plant cuttings in this solution for 12 hours to encourage root growth.
2. Potato Method
Take a large potato and remove the eyes. Make an incision and insert the plant stem into the potato. With adequate watering, roots will develop quickly.
3. Aloe Juice
Add 3-7 drops of fresh aloe juice to the water containing the stem. This will accelerate root formation and boost the plant’s immune system.
4. Willow Water
Place a few twigs of willow (or poplar) in water and wait for roots to form. Once roots appear, remove the twigs and place the desired plant stem in the remaining water. You can top off the water as needed without changing it completely.
5. Yeast Solution
Prepare a yeast solution using 100 mg of yeast per 1 liter of water. Soak the plant cuttings in this mixture for a day. Afterward, rinse them and transfer to a container filled halfway with water.
These natural methods can effectively stimulate root growth, promoting healthier plants.
